Microsoft is ready to release several of its new hardware products on September 22nd. We may see new Surface devices such as the Surface Book 4, Surface Book 2, and Surface Go 3. While the Microsoft Surface Go 3 is expected to have the same design as its predecessors, it may launch with a new chip under the hood. Ahead of the release, Surface Go 3 specs have been leaked, and this suggests the latest Surface Go will ship with an Intel Core i3 chip, 8GB of RAM, a 10.7-inch FHD display, and more. Microsoft Surface Go 3 specs leak, which will come in two different models
According to a report by Winfuture.de, the Microsoft Surface Go 3 will continue to use Intel chips, and it will come in two different flavors – one with an Intel Pentium Gold 6500Y processor paired with 4GB of RAM, and the other with an Intel Core i3. Model -10100Y with 8 GB of RAM. According to Geekbench results, the Intel Pentium Gold 6500Y shows 62% faster performance than the Pentium Gold 4425Y on Surface Go 2. The new i3-10100Y belongs to the Amber Lake Y series. This also shows that the device will run Windows 10 Pro operating system. The report also states that the Surface Go 3 has no fans and therefore no moving internal components.
There are currently no pricing details for the Microsoft Surface Go 3, but we expect more details to come before the September 22 event. Microsoft released the previous generation of Surface Go and Surface Book, so we expect the latest versions of Surface Go 3 and Surface Book 4 to roll out to various countries soon. Alongside the new Surface Go 3 and Surface Book 4, Microsoft may be announcing a new Surface laptop rumored to be called the Surface Duo 2.
