Leaked Infinix Zero 5G teaser reveals launch scheduled for Feb. 8 with Dimensity 900 SoC and LPDDR5 RAM
Infinix is gearing up to launch its first 5G-enabled smartphone, the Infinix Zero 5G. The company started announcing the phone yesterday via its Twitter account. Now, in recent development, the Infinix Zero 5G launch date has come up thanks to whistleblower Abhishek. According to the leak, the Infinix Zero 5G will debut on February 8th.
If the phone’s past leak is to be believed, the device will ship with a Dimensity 900 SoC. It will feature an AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Let’s see what other features the device will have:
Infinix Zero 5G Specifications (Expected)
According to known data, the Infinix Zero 5G will debut with a 6.67-inch AMOLED display. The display panel is rumored to offer Full HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood of this upcoming phone could be an octa-core Dimensity 900 processor. The device is speculated to come with 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 onboard storage.
In terms of optics, the phone boasts a 48MP triple camera setup. The camera module may include a telephoto lens and an ultra-wide angle sensor. On the front side of the Infinix Zero 5G, a 16-megapixel selfie camera can be installed.
Other key features the device may have include NFC, a USB Type-C port, a 3.5mm headphone jack, microSD card support, 13-band 5G support, and a fingerprint reader. The device may be equipped with a 5000mAh battery that can support 33W fast charging. In terms of software, the Zero 5G can boot Android 11 out of the box with an XOS skin on top.
Judging by the last leak, the smartphone can be presented in orange and black colors. We’ll learn more details about the Infinix Zero 5G as we get closer to its launch.
