Stage 3 of the Valorant Skyesports Championship Series (SCS) takes place in Chennai: the playoffs start tomorrow
Following the huge success of Skyesports Souvenir Mumbai 2022, the first Indian Valorant LAN tournament, Skyesports CEO Shiva Marvel Nandi announced that SkyEsports Champions Series (SCS): Playoffs Stage 3 will be played in a LAN-line format with the venue set to Chennai. Lan will run from May 31st to June 4th with a limited audience.
Skyesports Champions Series (SCS) is one of the most important Valorant events in South Asia (South Africa), which will send two teams to the region for the VCT Stage 2 APAC Challengers for two available slots in the VCT Stage 2 Masters. A $30,000 tournament has been announced, and Sky Esports partnered with Riot Games to host the Rooter-powered AMD Presents SCS.

The SCS group stage took place from 19 to 24 May. This is a 6-day event that sent the top six teams to compete in the Skyesports Champions Series (SCS) playoffs. The qualifying playoffs include the following teams:
Group A
- Enigma Gaming
- Global esports
- Revenant eSports
Group B
- Orangutan
- speed games
- Full game power

Qualified teams have already landed in Chennai and the organizers have made sure that the players receive a true regional welcome, welcoming them with local clothing and cultural events. One of the highlights is a huge billboard that features the faces of the players.

SCS Phase 3: Playoff schedule, format and where to watch

The playoffs will be a LAN tournament which will take place in Chennai as mentioned above. It will start on May 31st and run until June 5th. But the Pakistani team Full Power Gaming will be playing from their country as they were unable to come to India due to visa issues.

The Double Elimination format will be implemented for six qualified teams, with Orangutan and Enigma Gaming advancing to the second round. You can view the elimination map in the above tweet. Earlier this month, the organizers released admission tickets for spectators, and fans who received tickets are now traveling to Chennai from all over India.
In terms of broadcast details, the event will be streamed live on the official YouTube channel and Rooter Skyesports. Viewers from South Asia can watch Valo’s first-class action in the SCS playoffs in multiple languages. Prior to Stage 3, SCS Global Esports launched a film titled “South Asia Rising”which is being produced by Skyesports. The music video features top professional Valorant players such as Ganesh “WeROSSI”Gangadhar, Debanjan “DEATHMAKER”Das, Sabyasachi “ANTIDOTE”Bose, Divyansh “SCARGOD”Jane.
