The mobile video game market is very vast. There is something for every taste, for every budget, with more or less important promises for players. As with other platforms, there are small games and AAA among other things. Diablo Immortal clearly falls into the second category. And the launch of such a game rarely goes without the slightest hitch.

Nearly four years after the game’s announcement, Blizzard finally released the long-awaited Diablo Immortal for Android, iOS, and PC a few days ago. And shortly after this launch, which took place a day earlier than expected on mobile devices, many gamers with Samsung smartphones posted complaints on Reddit and other forums about several technical problems. On some devices of the South Korean giant, equipped with their own Exynos chip, Diablo Immortal cannot be played. One of the biggest problems is that textures don’t load properly.

“We are investigating issues users are experiencing with certain Samsung Galayx devices using Exynos chips,” a Blizzard spokesperson explained in a Reddit comment discovered by SamMobile. “We can disable downloads for these specific devices at this time while we fix the issue. We apologize for all this, we are working as quickly as possible on a fix that will be available very soon.”
The affected devices include older models such as the Galaxy S10, Note 10 and A51 5G as well as the latest models such as the Galaxy S22 with the same texture issue. If you have a device with a Qualcomm processor, you can download and play this game without any problems. You can check the availability of the chip on your smartphone by going to the “About phone” section in Android settings.
