Some Android games can now be played on Windows
Google Play Games is in beta testing to play Android games on Windows.
When Microsoft announced Windows, one of the most exciting features for users was the ability to use Android apps on Windows through the Amazon Appstore. That being said, if you don’t use the Amazon Appstore but still want to enjoy some Android apps on your Windows PC, this might be for you.
Google Play Games goes into beta
Indeed, Google has just announced the launch of Google Play Games for Windows. It is a standalone application developed by Mountain View that allows users to play Android games on a Windows PC. Think of it as Google’s answer to Microsoft and Amazon working together to bring Android apps to Windows.

That being said, it should be remembered that, unlike the Amazon Appstore, Google Play Games is almost exclusively dedicated to mobile games. At least for the time being. It wouldn’t be surprising if the American giant eventually expanded its app to include other types of apps, but for now, we’ll have to make do with games. Also remember that the service is currently in beta testing. Only users who live in Korea, Taiwan or Hong Kong can register to enjoy.
Finally, the selection of available games, for its part, is currently very limited. But, as said above, since this is just a beta version, you can be sure that there will be more games, and more users will be able to access them. Either way, it might be very interesting for Android users who have a Windows PC. A little more patience before Google Play Games is sufficiently installed and this will be a very good option.
