YouTube will allow creators to offer paid lessons next year
YouTube will allow you to offer paid video courses, as well as quizzes to test your knowledge and a new player for education.
YouTube is already the platform of choice for those who want to practice or learn more about a particular subject. The latter will soon have more educational features, including the ability for creators to offer structured video lessons. Creators will no longer need to redirect their years to other sites or apps (such as Masterclass) where they sell this type of content. YouTube may also charge a fee.

According to YouTube, these courses will be “a deep and structured learning experience.”Creators will be able to charge for these courses or offer them for free. The videos that are part of the paid course will not contain ads and can be watched in the background. In other words, you will be able to enjoy it like a premium podcast. The beta version of the courses will appear next year in the US and South Korea. YouTube intends to expand to more countries in the coming months.
As well as quizzes to test your knowledge
To promote educational content on the platform and possibly help people take courses to expand their knowledge, YouTube will also be rolling out a feature called Quiz. Creators will be able to create a quiz in their community tab, they can ask their subscribers anything related to the topic covered in the video. The beta version of this feature will be available in a few months, and all authors who have a community tab will be able to use the quizzes next year.
and a new desire for education
In addition to these features, YouTube has announced a new built-in player for educational apps. The Mountain View firm explains that Player for Education does not contain any distractions, be it ads, recommendations, or external links. This player is an improvement on the one used in Google Classroom to provide “an even better YouTube experience”. At launch, this player will be used by specialized US companies such as EDpuzzle, Purdue University and Purdue Global.
