With several players emerging for the video game industry in the Chinese and Southeast Asian markets, Lunar New Year has become a prominent event in many popular online video games in recent years.

Valorant Lunar Celebration Event Pass Live, Brings New Titles, Sprays, and Friends in Arms

The Valorant’s Lunar Celebration Event Pass started on February 1, 2022 (the first day of the Chinese New Year). The event will last approximately 15 days and end on February 16, 2022.

The Lunar New Year Event, like the Arcana event in November 2021, has a special time-limited pass in which players can earn gifts. Titles, a “Tiger”spray, a dumpling partner, a card featuring our favorite food agents, and radianite goggles are among the included items.

While the Lunar Celebration Pass is free, gamers will need to complete a series of challenges in order to access the rewards. Players must earn a total of 63,000 XP to complete the Battle Pass. The experience required to complete each level of the Lunar Celebration Pass is divided as follows.

6,000 XP for the Tiger title, 7,000 XP for the Lucky Tiger Spray, 8,000 XP for 10 Radianite points, 9,000 XP for the Fortune title, 10,000 XP for Happy Dumpling Buddy, 11,000 XP for 10 Radianite points, and 12,000 XP Wishing You Happiness Card.

Along with this, the company also introduced a new kit, cleverly named “Tiger”. This was introduced with a cinematic video highlighting its features, including skins for the Phantom, Operator, Ghost, and Shorty, as well as buddies, graffiti, and player cards. Tiger is a new line of premium skins that contains animations and sound effects to create a striking design that looks like a mixture of Prime and Reaver.
