Easy Waltz is Nick Pizzolatto’s first film (True Detective).

An indie drama set in contemporary Las Vegas.

Described as a meeting of swingers and A Star Is Born, “Easy’s Waltz”follows a hapless comedian-singer who travels around Las Vegas in a modern setting with old-school personalities. In addition to directing the film, Nick Pizzolatto is also in charge of the script, with Margot Hand (Passing by, Brittany Runs a Marathon, Meadowland) also serving as producer.

High-profile cast member for Easy’s Waltz

American actor Vince Vaughn will play a struggling crooner and comedian trying to navigate the minefield of modern-day Las Vegas along with other artists who have been visiting the Strip for decades. Michelle Monaghan, Al Pacino and Simon Rex round out the cast of Easy Waltz. Vince Vaughn and Michelle Monaghan are reuniting in “Waltz Easy”following the recent conclusion of the first season of Bill Lawrence creator Ted Lasso’s drama series Bad Monkey for the Apple TV+ streaming platform. Al Pacino has just wrapped filming for Michael Keaton’s Knox Go Away and recently appeared on the big screen in Ridley Scott’s House of Gucci. Simon Rex completed Red Rocket, earning him an Indie Spirit Award.
