Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra 1TB Storage Option Revealed: Price, Specs
Samsung has unveiled a new storage configuration for the Galaxy S22 Ultra. The company has unveiled a premium 1TB storage option for its high-end flagship Android smartphone in the country. The device was launched earlier this year alongside the S22 and S22 Plus. At launch, the Galaxy S22 Ultra only had two storage options – 12GB + 256GB and 12GB + 512GB.
Nearly a month after Samsung announced the price of the S22 series, the company launched the S22 Ultra model with 12GB + 1TB storage. Let’s take a look at the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra price, specifications and other details.
Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra 1TB Price
The Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra is now available in 12GB + 1TB storage configuration. This is in addition to 256GB, 512GB storage options. All three S22 Ultra storage options come standard with 12GB of RAM. The 1TB storage option costs $1,777.
By comparison, the 256GB variant costs $1,448 and the 512GB variant costs $1,566. The device is available in Phantom Black, Phantom White and Burgundy colors. The green color option is not yet available.
As part of the new launch offerings, customers who purchase the Galaxy S22 Ultra 1TB variant during the sale will receive the Galaxy Watch 4 for $40. In addition, Galaxy S and Galaxy Note series customers will receive a $105 upgrade bonus, and owners of other devices will receive a $65 upgrade bonus when purchasing the Galaxy S22 Ultra 1TB variant.
Specifications and features
The Galaxy S22 Ultra comes with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC. It packs a 5000mAh battery and supports 45W fast charging, 15W wireless charging. However, there is no charger included.
The phone has 12GB of RAM as standard and is now available in three storage options. It runs Android 12 out of the box with a One UI 4.1 layer on top. Samsung has promised four years of software updates and five years of security support for the S22 line.
The device is equipped with a 6.8-inch Dynamic AMOLED display with 2x magnification. It has a QHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. In addition to this, the screen has a peak brightness of 1750 nits and is covered with a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+.
On the back, there is a quad-camera setup. The main camera has a resolution of 108 MP with an aperture of f / 1.8, and the ultra-wide angle has a resolution of 12 MP with an aperture of f / 2.2. The phone is equipped with two 10-megapixel telephoto lenses with 3x and 10x optical zoom. There is a 40MP front camera for selfies. The phone is also IP68 rated.
