Realme VP Madhav Sheth confirms that Realme Narzo 50, GT 2 series will be launched soon

Realme is ready to launch the Realme 9 Pro series devices in the global market. Ahead of the launch, Realme VP Madhav Sheth revealed on the latest episode of #AskMadhav that the company will be launching the Realme GT 2 and Realme Narzo 50 series soon.

Sheth did not give any launch date for the Realme GT 2 series and Realme Narzo 50 series. However, he did say that these phones are coming soon. Based on this, we can expect these phones to arrive in the next two months.

Sheth previously confirmed that the Realme GT 2 series will be launched in the European market. In the latest news, he also confirmed that the company will be presenting the products at MWC Barcelona, ​​which will take place later this month. We can expect the company to announce the global release of the Realme GT 2 series at MWC.

Specifications and features of the Realme GT 2 series

The Realme GT 2 features a 6.62-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with 2400 x 1080 pixels resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, 1300 nits peak brightness and Corning Gorilla Glass protection.

Under the hood of the phone is an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC coupled with 12GB of RAM. It packs a 5000mAh battery and supports 65W fast charging.

The Realme GT 2 boasts a triple rear camera setup including a 50MP main camera, an 8MP ultra wide-angle lens, and a 2MP macro sensor. For selfies and video calls, the phone offers a 16-megapixel front camera.

The Realme GT 2 Pro sports a 6.7-inch 2K AMOLED LTPO display with a resolution of 3216×1440 pixels, a 120Hz refresh rate, support for a maximum brightness of 1400 nits and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection.

The GT 2 Pro is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC manufactured on a 4nm process. The phone offers a 5,000mAh battery with support for 65W fast charging.

In terms of optics, the Realme GT 2 pro offers a triple rear camera setup including a 50MP Sony IMX766 sensor, a 50MP ultra wide-angle lens with a 150° field of view, and a 2MP microscope camera sensor. It also offers a 32MP front camera for selfies and video calls.

Realme GT 2 series devices boot Android 12 with Realme UI 3.0 proprietary skin on top.
