Eerly AirPods Pro 2 Unboxing Video Before Launch

Apple’s new earphones won’t be released until Friday, but one lucky customer who received theirs ahead of schedule shared an early video of the AirPods Pro 2 unboxing.

• What is happening? Someone shared an early unboxing video of the upcoming AirPods Pro 2 headphones ahead of their scheduled launch on Friday.
• Why care? Because AirPods are Apple’s hit, and now there’s an AirPods Pro successor with a six-hour battery, 2x more active noise cancellation, the new Apple H2 chip, and more.
• What to do? Interested in AirPods? Maybe it would be nice to visit the nearest Apple store tomorrow and try the new products in person?

As you can see for yourself in the video posted by Fernando Pinto on YouTube, the AirPods Pro 2 box is not much different from the previous model.

The small white box includes a pair of second generation AirPods Pro along with a charging case. At the bottom of the box is a Lightning to USB-C cable for charging, as well as ear tips of various sizes.

There is also some printed documentation, but no Apple stickers.

So, what do you get in exchange for $249, which is the price of the previous AirPods Pro that Apple no longer sells? Significant improvements have also been made to the excellent Transparency Mode, which now offers a unique way to get more immersive surround sound.

The new AirPods Pro feature touch controls for media playback and volume control right from the stand. You also get a longer six-hour battery life (compared to five hours previously).

Charging case supports Find My

Apple has redesigned the charging case to include a built-in speaker and support for Apple Find My so you can easily find your lost charging case.

The charging case supports both Qi and MagSafe wireless charging, in addition to wired Lightning charging, and comes with a strap loop.

They also come with an extra small ear tip in the box for a better fit. Apple is also offering the new optional small ear tips separately for $7.99 on its online store.
