Vikings: Valhalla, exciting new fights with Leif and Freydis in season 2
A century after the original series, Vikings: Valhalla tells the story of the fall of the old Viking culture as Christianity infiltrates the Scandinavian countries more and more.
The first season of Vikings: Valhalla showed how the Scandinavian kingdoms have changed since the days of Ragnar Lothbrok (Travis Fimmel). The Viking people are divided into those who worship Odin and the pagan gods, and those who consider Jesus their savior. The religious tensions at the heart of Viking culture are beautifully captured in the journey of siblings Leif Eriksson (Sam Corlett) and Freydis Eriksdotter (Frida Gustavsson) as they travel to Kattegat to exact revenge on the man who carved a cross into Freydis’ flesh. However, in an effort to settle personal scores, Leif and Freydis find themselves embroiled in a new war against England, in which Vikings from different countries unite to avenge those killed by the English king.
