Vivo T1 5G With Snapdragon 695 SoC, 120Hz Display Launched: Price, Specs
Vivo launched its first T-series smartphone. The company launched the T1 5G as a new sub-$270 smartphone. As the name suggests, Vivo T1 supports 5G network. The device comes with some minor changes compared to the model released in China.
The Vivo T1 5G India variant comes with Snapdragon 695 SoC. By comparison, the Chinese variant has a Snapdragon 778G SoC. There is a triple camera on the back. The device also comes with a polycarbonate back. Let’s take a look at the Vivo T1 5G price, specifications and other details.
Vivo T1 5G price
Vivo launched the T1 5G in three storage options. All three storage options come standard with 128GB of internal storage. The base model has 4GB of RAM and costs $214. The 6GB and 8GB RAM options cost $227 and $267 respectively. As part of the launch offers, the company offers HDFC Bank cardholders a $13 discount.
The device will go on sale starting February 14 via Flipkart, Vivo’s online store.
Specifications and features
The T1 5G India variant features a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 SoC. The choice of chipset makes the device 5G ready. It comes with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Users can expand the storage using a microSD card.
To manage the temperature, the phone has a 5-level turbo cooling system. It is also considered to be the thinnest smartphone in its price range. The device has a thickness of 8.25 mm and weighs 187 grams.
On the front is a 6.58-inch Full HD+ IPS LCD. The phone features a 120Hz refresh rate display and a waterdrop notch at the top. It also has a touch sampling rate of 240Hz. The phone packs a 5000mAh battery and supports 18W fast charging.
It comes with a triple camera on the back. The device has a 50-megapixel main camera sensor, as well as two 2-megapixel sensors for depth sensing and macro photography. The device does not have an ultra wide-angle camera. For selfies and video calls, a 16-megapixel front camera is provided.
The smartphone comes with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and support for AI face unlock. It also has a 3.5mm headphone jack and a USB Type-C port. The phone runs Funtouch OS 12 based on Android 12 out of the box.
