Vivo has updated its line of flagship smartphones. The company has launched two new flagship smartphones namely Vivo X80 and X80 Pro. Vanilla X80 is the first smartphone launched with MediaTek’s top-notch flagship Dimensity 9000 SoC.
While the phone is the company’s base model in its flagship lineup, the X80 packs some powerful hardware. The phone has a camera system customized by Zeiss. It also features a high refresh rate AMOLED display. Let’s take a look at the Vivo X80 price, specifications and other details known so far.
Vivo X80 price and specifications
Vivo has launched the X80 series. The Vanilla X80 comes with 8GB and 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage. The base 8GB + 128GB model costs $709, while the 12GB + 256GB variant is $774.
The X80 is available in Cosmic Black and Urban Blue. It will go on sale starting May 25 through Vivo e-Store, Flipkart and other major retail partners. As part of the launch offers, customers with an HDFC bank card can receive a $90 discount by pre-booking a standard X80.
According to the specifications, the X80 is equipped with a 6.78-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display. The screen has a cutout in the top center for the front camera. It also supports 120Hz refresh rate.
On the back is a huge camera block that houses a triple camera setup. The phone has a 50MP main sensor, a 12MP ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 12MP portrait sensor with 2x optical zoom. There is also a 32 MP front camera sensor. As mentioned above, the phone has cameras customized by Zeiss.
The phone has a glass body and weighs about 206 grams. It also has a thickness of 8.3mm and a 4500mAh battery. The phone supports 80W fast charging out of the box. Under the hood is also a MediaTek Dimensity 9000 SoC. The phone comes with an in-display fingerprint scanner and AI-assisted face unlock. It supports WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, 5G, 4G VoLTE, etc. The device runs Funtouch OS 12 based on Android 12 out of the box.
