Vivo has launched a new Y-series smartphone in Malaysia. Y76 is the latest 5G smartphone from the Chinese smartphone manufacturer. The device is different from the Y76, which was released earlier this month in China. However, both smartphones share a similar design language. The Y76 has a tiny waterdrop notch at the top of the display. It also has a rectangular-shaped camera module on the back with two large circular cutouts. Launched in Malaysia, the Vivo Y76 comes in one configuration with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage and is priced at RM1,299 (roughly $310). It is available in two colors – Midnight Space and Cosmic Aurora. At the time of this writing, Vivo has not announced its plans to launch the Y76 in other markets.

Y76 is a mid-range smartphone with 5G network support. It comes with a MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC under the hood. The performance block includes 8 GB of RAM. Vivo also offers support for up to 4GB of virtual RAM, which is borrowed from the device’s 128GB of internal storage.
