The Lord of the Rings: Rings of Power, Numenor and its characters revealed in video
The Ring of Power takes place in the Second Age, several thousand years before The Lord of the Rings.
Amazon Prime Video offers a first look at characters from the island kingdom of Numenor, including Isildur (Maxim Baldry), Elendil (Lloyd Owen), Pharazon (Tristan Gravel), Queen Regent Miriel (Cynthia Addai-Robinson), Kemen (Leon Wadham), and Eerien (Ema Horvath) in the television series The Lord of the Rings: Rings of Power.

Following the teaser, this new video also gives fans a glimpse of some of the kingdoms that will be featured in the eight-episode series (starting airing September 2), including the elven kingdoms of Lindon and Eregion, the realm of the dwarves. Khazad-dum, the Southern Lands, the Far North Wastes, the Broken Seas, and the island kingdom of Numenor. The Lord of the Rings: Rings of Power is led by showrunners and executive producers JD Payne and Patrick McKay. They will be joined by executive producers Lindsey Weber, Callum Green, J.A. Bayona, Belen Atienza, Justin Doble, Jason Cahill, Jennifer Hutchison, Bruce Richmond and Sharon Tal Iguado, as well as producers Ron Ames and Christopher Newman. Wayne Che Yip is co-executive producing and directing with J.A. Bayona and Charlotte Brandström.
