Here’s how much OnePlus Nord 2T could cost in India, launch likely on July 1st

Last month, OnePlus launched the OnePlus Nord 2T phone in the UK and select markets. The phone has yet to debut in the Indian market. Earlier today, the upcoming Nord series phone was spotted on the company’s website in India, hinting at an imminent launch. Now whistleblower Abhishek Yadav reveals in his latest tweet that the OnePlus Nord 2T will launch in the country on July 1st.

Along with this, the whistleblower also revealed the Nord 2T variants for the Indian market and their respective prices. Let’s take a closer look at OnePlus Nord 2T India pricing, sale date and specifications.

OnePlus Nord 2T Indian variants, price, sale date

OnePlus will reportedly release the Nord 2T in two configurations – 8GB + 128GB and 12GB + 256GB. The basic version of the device costs 28,999 rupees. Considering that for the Nord 2T 12GB + 256GB variant, users may have to shell out Rs 33,999.

According to the leaked information, the Nord 2T will be available for purchase from July 5 in India. We can expect the Nord 2T to be an Amazon exclusive just like other OnePlus phones.

Specifications and features of OnePlus Nord 2T

The Nord series device has already been launched in several markets, so the characteristics and other details of the device are already known. It is unlikely that the brand will make any changes to the Indian variant of the device.

The Nord 2T launched in Europe features a 6.43-inch Full HD+ AMOLED LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate. Below the display panel is an optical fingerprint scanner, and there’s also room for a front-facing shooter inside a punch-hole in the top-left corner. The display panel is also protected by Corning Gorilla Glass.

The latest device in the Nord series is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 1300 octa-core processor. The Dimensity 1300 is a minor upgrade from the Dimensity 1200 Max that powers the OnePlus Nord 2. The Nord 2T uses an integrated Mali G77 GPU, up to 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM, and up to 256GB built-in memory UFS 3.1.

In terms of optics, the Nord 2T relies on a triple rear camera setup and dual-tone LED flash. OnePlus has retained the good old 50MP Sony IMX766 OIS-enabled Nord 2 sensor. The device also offers an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, a 2MP mono camera, and a 32MP front-facing camera.

Nord 2T is equipped with a 4500 mAh battery. It supports 80W SuperVOOC fast charging via Type-C charging port.
