Iqoo is preparing to launch a new series of smartphones in India. The company will launch its first Neo series smartphone in India very soon. Iqoo has confirmed that the Iqoo Neo 6 will be coming to India soon. The company has not yet officially confirmed the launch. However, Amazon India may have spilled the beans.

The push notification of the Amazon India app revealed the launch date of the Iqoo Neo 6 India. According to the notice, the launch of the device in India is scheduled for May 31st. Neither the Amazon microsite nor the events page of the Iqoo India website lists a launch date. Iqoo Neo 6 will be the first Neo series smartphone in India. The device will cost between Rs 30,000 to Rs 35,000 in India. While Iqoo has yet to officially announce a launch date, details have been revealed in Amazon’s notice. According to the push notification, the Neo 6 launch in India is scheduled for May 31st.

Iqoo has already confirmed some key details of the device. First, in India, the phone will ship with the Snapdragon 870 SoC. This is different from the Neo 6 in China, which has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC. It is possible that the Neo 6 India variant will instead be the rebranded Iqoo Neo 6 SE that was recently launched in China.

The Indian variant of the Neo 6 will also have support for 80W fast charging, which is also found on the Neo 6 SE in China. The phone may have a 4700 mAh battery.

The device is also likely to feature a 6.62-inch AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution. It will have a 120Hz refresh rate and a notch at the top center. There will also be a triple camera on the back of the phone. It will have a 64-megapixel main camera sensor, as well as a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera and a 2-megapixel black and white sensor. For selfies, there will be a 16-megapixel front-facing camera inside the punch-hole cutout.

The India variant can be launched with 8GB and 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage. More details will be announced in the coming days.
