All Apple iPhone 15s must be equipped with Dynamic Island

Dynamic Island should be present on all iPhone 15s. ProMotion 120Hz, on the other hand, will remain exclusive to Pro models.

Now that the iPhone 14 has been officially unveiled, attention is already on the next generation. Analysts and other experts in the mobile market, or rather Apple, are already spreading rumors when it comes to the iPhone 15. And it seems that important information is already there. The dynamic island should be extended to all generation models.

Dynamic Island must be present on all iPhone 15

So the entire iPhone 15 line will have the iPhone 14 Pro dynamic island. In a tweet spotted by MacRumors, specialist analyst Ross Young explains that he expects Apple to make its Dynamic Island the standard on all iPhones in 2024, in a supply chain that “can’t support”the feature in more affordable models. In another tweet, Ross Young explains that the Cupertino-based company is likely to offer the technology on its less expensive iPhones in 2024.

The 120Hz ProMotion, on the other hand, will remain exclusive to the Pro models.

Offering Dynamic Island as a standard on all new iPhones from now on would make sense for the Apple brand, especially to encourage developers to take advantage of the feature. Some applications are already using it, so to speak, for fun. With the release of iOS 16.1 later this year, Dynamic Island will also work with the Apple Live Activity API. This is a feature that will make the standard iPhone more appealing to customers who choose to keep their current device. While the iPhone 12 was a big upgrade over the iPhone 11, the iPhone 13 and iPhone 14 are clearly less interesting in this regard. There’s not much reason to buy the latest generation, unless you have an iPhone that’s a few years old.

Yes, Dynamic Island is expected on standard 15th generation models. 120Hz/LTPO is still not expected on standard models as the supply chain cannot support it.
