Oneplus 9, 9 Pro OxygenOS 12 C.44 update is out: dark mode levels and gallery modes added
Last March, OnePlus launched the OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro. Since then, the phone has received regular software updates from the firm. In a recent development, OnePlus has started rolling out a new update for the OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro smartphones (outside of China).
The latest update comes with firmware version C.44 and contains important new changes, including the January 2022 Android security patch. Let’s take a closer look at the new update for these OnePlus devices.
OnePlus 9, 9 Pro C.44 update changelog
The latest update for OnePlus phones includes the January 2022 Android security patch. In addition, the update includes three new dark mode options, new map style options, the ability to switch between gallery layouts with a two-finger gesture, and more.
The company has also fixed an issue that caused the notification bar to display incorrectly in certain situations, as well as optimizing available features and fixing other known issues. You can find the changelog for the update attached below:

OnePlus 9 users receive the update with OxygenOS firmware version LE2111_11_C.44, while the update comes with OxygenOS LE2113_11_C.44 and OxygenOS LE2115_11_C.44 firmware versions for European and other users, respectively.
The OnePlus 9 Pro update is rolling out with OxygenOS firmware version LE2121_11_C.44, while the update contains OxygenOS LE2123_11_C.44 and OxygenOS LE2125_11_C.44 firmware versions for European and other users, respectively.
The company said that the update will be rolled out in stages, so it may not be available on your device right now. Keep in mind that some of the above features are only available in the EU.
