Realme 8 November Patch Released, Realme Looks and More

Realme launched the Realme 8 phone in the country earlier this year. The Chinese smartphone brand releases updates for the phone frequently. As part of the new development, the company has started rolling out a new update with firmware version RMX3085_11.A.22 for the Realme 8 phone. The update also brings the latest November 2021 Android security patch. Let’s take a closer look at what the update has in store for Realme 8 users.

Realme reached out to the Realme community to share the development. Realme 8 November update comes with firmware version RMX3085_11.A.22, OTA size for it is about 255MB. Take a look at the official changelogs below,

• Integrates the November 2021 Android security patch.

• Adds Glance for realme: Glance for realme adds exquisite and informative content under signed categories such as news, entertainment, sports, games and shopping on the lock screen.

• Content is updated via Wi-Fi and mobile data. You can disable the use of mobile data for automatic content updates. Path to work: Settings > Home screen, Lock screen & always-on display > Realistic view > Refresh content using mobile data

• By updating, you agree to the Glance User Agreement (https://glance.com/eula3) and the Glance Privacy Policy (https://glance.com/privacy-policy)

System

• Fixed some known issues.

• Optimizes system stability.

The update also includes a new Glance for Realme feature that displays content from various categories on the lock screen. It runs on InMobi’s Glance and is already on Samsung and Xiaomi devices. Users can go to Settings > Home screen, Lock screen and Always on display > Realistic view > Refresh content using mobile data to disable this feature.

Realme says this is a phased rollout and the update will be available to all users very soon. For those who don’t know, Android OEMs are following a phased rollout to minimize the impact of critical bugs.
