Xiaomi has launched a new Redmi smartphone under a serial number in Malaysia. Redmi 10C is a new budget smartphone from the Xiaomi sub-brand. It comes with a 6.71-inch display on the front. The smartphone is made in a plastic case and is available in three colors.
The Redmi 10C is essentially a rebranded Redmi 10 launched earlier this month. The phone has a Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset. It has a huge camera block that houses not only the camera sensors and LED flash, but also a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner. Let’s take a look at the Redmi 10C specs, features and other details.

Redmi has launched the 10C as its new numbered budget smartphone in Malaysia. Details of the price of the phone are currently under wraps. Redmi is expected to announce pricing details for its new budget smartphone soon. The starting price of the phone is $144 for the base 4GB + 64GB storage variant under the Redmi 10 brand.
In Malaysia, the phone comes standard with 4GB of RAM with 64GB and 128GB of internal storage. The device is available in Graphite Grey, Mint Green and Ocean Blue.
Specifications and features
Redmi 10C features a 6.71-inch IPS LCD display with HD+ resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels. There is a waterdrop notch at the top of the display for the front camera. Redmi has packed a 5MP selfie camera into the notch.
IPS LCD supports the standard 60Hz refresh rate. It comes with a 5000mAh battery under the hood with support for 18W fast charging out of the box. The device has a fingerprint scanner on the back and support for AI face unlock.
Under the hood is the Snapdragon 680 SoC. The processor is paired with 4GB of RAM and up to 128GB of internal storage. Users can expand the storage using a microSD card. The phone also retained the 3.5mm headphone jack.
On the rear panel is a setup with two cameras. The phone has a 50MP main camera sensor and a 2MP depth sensor. The LED flash is located inside the camera module. Finally, the phone boots MIUI 13 based on Android 11 out of the box.
