Last month, Tecno launched three POP series smartphones – Tecno POP 5, POP 5 Pro and POP 5X. Today the company introduced a new device from the Pop series, called Tecno POP 5S. The smartphone is announced by Tecno in the Mexican market.

Speaking of specs, the Tecno POP 5S is a budget device from Tecno with a 5.7-inch HD+ display. The device is equipped with a Unisoc processor. It is equipped with a 5-megapixel rear camera and a 3020 mAh battery. Let’s take a look ahead at the device’s detailed specs and prices:

The cost of Tecno POP 5S is 2,239 Mexican pesos. The device comes in purple and green color options. At this time, Tecno has not released any details about the global availability of POP 5S.

The Tecno POP 5S boasts a 5.7-inch IPS LCD display with HD+ resolution of 720 x 1520 pixels. The display panel features a waterdrop notch, an 18:9 aspect ratio, and an 84% screen-to-body ratio. Under the hood of the POP 5S is a Unisoc SC98632E quad-core processor clocked at 1.4GHz. The smartphone comes with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage.

In terms of software, the POP 5S runs Android 10 Go Edition out of the box. The device is equipped with a dual camera on the back, which includes a 5-megapixel main camera and an artificial intelligence lens. On the front side of the phone is a 2-megapixel selfie camera, which is accompanied by an LED flash.

The smartphone supports face unlock for security purposes. The backlight is supported by a 3020 mAh battery. In terms of connectivity, the POP 5S has features such as dual SIM support, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, Bluetooth v4.2, 3.5mm audio jack, FM radio, and a microUSB port. The dimensions of the device are 148 x 72.3 x 9.9 mm and the weight is 160 grams.
