Vivo Y33s 5G Launched With Dimensity 700 SoC, Dual 13MP Rear Cameras: Price, Specs

Vivo has launched a new Y-series smartphone in China. Vivo Y33s is a new 5G smartphone. The device is a budget smartphone with a MediaTek Dimensity processor. It sits above the Y33s 4G that was launched last year in China.

The Y33s 5G is expected to roll out to other markets outside of China. As of now, Vivo has not announced the launch of a new budget 5G smartphone outside of China. In the meantime, let’s take a look at the Vivo Y33s price, specs, specifications and other details.

Vivo Y33s 5G Price

Vivo launched Y33s 5G in China. The budget 5G smartphone comes in three storage options with 128GB as standard. The base model has 4GB of RAM and is priced at 1,299 Yuan. There is also a variant with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage. This model costs 1399 yuan. The highest storage variant has 8GB of RAM and also comes with 128GB of internal storage. It is available in three color options: Snow Dawn, Black and Nebula Blue.

Specifications and features

The Y33s 5G comes with a polycarbonate back and a plastic bezel. It has a 6.58-inch IPS LCD panel on the front with a waterdrop notch at the top for the front camera. The HD+ screen is surrounded by fairly thin bezels, save for a thick chin. Vivo has launched a phone with 60Hz refresh rate support.

On the right is a flat bezel that houses the fingerprint scanner. The volume keys are also located above the power button on the right. The Y33s 5G has a dual camera on the back. The phone has a 13MP main camera sensor and a 2MP macro camera. For selfies, users get an 8-megapixel front camera.

The phone is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC under the hood. It has up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Vivo packed a 5000 mAh battery into the 5G smartphone. It comes with support for 18W fast charging via a USB Type-C cable. Other specs include 5G, 4G VoLTE, GPS, dual SIM support, 5.0GHz Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, 3.5mm audio jack, etc. The phone has a microSD card for storage expansion. It runs Android 12 out of the box with a Vivo Origin Ocean skin layer on top.
