OnePlus 9RT update released with several fixes

OnePlus recently launched the OnePlus 9RT phone. The phone went on sale starting today via amazon and OnePlus. A couple of days after the launch, OnePlus started rolling out the first update for the phone. The latest update for OnePlus 9RT includes the December 2021 Android security patch. Along with this, the update contains several improvements and bug fixes. The OTA update is about 167MB in size.

The latest update for the OnePlus 9RT fixed an issue that caused the shelf to display incorrectly. The update also brings improved VoWiFi stability.

With this update, OnePlus has brought several camera optimizations to the smartphone. The company has optimized the UI display effect for Movie mode. It also optimized the effect of the Super Stabilization feature and also corrected the position of the watermark. Take a look at the official changelogs below,

Specifications and features of OnePlus 9RT

The 9RT offers a 6.62-inch Fluid AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution, 120Hz refresh rate and 1300nits peak brightness. The display is equipped with an optical fingerprint scanner and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass.

The 9RT is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor with an Adreno 660 GPU. It offers up to 12GB of LPDDR5 memory and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The phone boots OxygenOS 11 based on Android 11 and will receive the Android 12 update sometime in March/April 2022.

The OnePlus 9RT gets a triple rear camera setup, including a 50MP Sony IMX766 main camera with OIS. It offers a 16-megapixel Sony IMX481 sensor that works as an ultra wide-angle lens with a 123° field of view. The 9RT also has a 2MP macro sensor. For selfies, a 16-megapixel Sony IMX471 sensor with EIS support is offered.

The OnePlus 9RT is equipped with a 4500mAh battery and supports 65W Warp Charge 65 fast charging. It has a Type-C charging port and a dual speaker setup with Dolby Atmos.
