Acer Aspire, Spin and Swift laptop lines released with Windows 11 preinstalled: prices, specifications
Acer has announced six new laptops, all of which will come pre-installed with Windows 11. The new laptops cover a wide range of laptop prices, features and builds, including regular and convertible models. The new Windows 11 laptops from Acer are part of the Aspire, Spin and Swift lines, offering two models from each portfolio.
Acer Aspire, Spin and Swift: price
Starting with the Aspire line, the Acer Aspire 3 starts at $750 and the Aspire 5 WeU starts at $780. From Spin’s line of convertible laptops, the Acer Spin 3 costs $1,010 and the Spin 5 starts at $1,350. In the Swift line, the Acer Swift 3 starts at $850 and the Swift X starts at $1,175.
Main characteristics
The Acer Aspire 3 features an Intel Core i5-1135G7 processor, a full-size keyboard, a hybrid hard drive and solid state drive, and comes with a fingerprint reader for Windows Hello sync. Meanwhile, the Aspire 5 has a slim 18mm chassis and is available in both 14-inch and 15.6-inch displays. It runs on 11th generation Intel processors and offers Full HD IPS displays. It features up to 2TB HDDs and up to 1TB M.2 SSDs for storage, and offers dual-band Wi-Fi connectivity.
The Acer Spin 3 is a 2-in-1 convertible laptop with a 13.3-inch 16:10 touch display and 11th Gen Intel Core processors. It supports a Wacom stylus and provides up to 15 hours of battery life, which can be fully charged in 30 minutes. Meanwhile, the Spin 5 is more premium, offering a convertible magnesium alloy laptop chassis. It offers an 11th Gen Intel Core i7 processor along with up to 1TB PCIe SSD and up to 16GB LPDDR4X RAM. Together with Windows 11, it provides 15 hours of battery life and offers an ultra-narrow bezel display with a 3:2 aspect ratio.
Meanwhile, Acer Swift 3 offers a choice of 11th Gen Intel and AMD Ryzen 5000 U series processors. It offers both Thunderbolt 4 and Wi-Fi 6 in terms of connectivity. It has a body thickness of 16 mm and weighs less than 1.2 kg. Other specs include up to 16GB DDR4 RAM, up to 1TB SSD, 14″Full HD displays and 16 hours of battery life. The Swift X is powered by a six-core Ryzen 5 5600U processor paired with a 4GB Nvidia GeForce RTX 3050 or discrete AMD Radeon GPU. Other specs include 16GB of RAM and a 512GB SSD, as well as a 14-inch Full HD display, all powered by a 59Wh battery.
