Star Wars Jedi Survivor: How Many Planets Are There?

Want to know how many planets are in Star Wars Jedi Survivor? Don’t worry, as you are not alone. Set five years after the events of Fallen Order, the sequel follows a weary Cal Kestis seeking refuge from the Empire. But as Cal reaches far, he must explore interstellar space along with some new planets. This got a few Star Wars fans thinking about the new worlds Respawn has added. So, here’s everything you need to know about the newly added planets.

How many planets are in Star Wars Jedi Survivor

After the release of the final trailer for “Jedi Survivor”, it became known that Cal would go to Coruscant. So far, we haven’t seen Cal and his team travel to this planet. This was confirmed by game director Stig Asmussen at the Star Wars Celebration convention. He confirmed, “We’re taking a step forward in our approach to metroidvania, and just to talk about another planet, we’ll also have Coruscant.”He also added, “I think there’s been a lot of speculation about this and I’m just confirming it here.”

While this could be a fresh start, EA team member Andy McNamara confirmed on Twitter that The Stig has never claimed that Coruscant is an open world that can be freely explored. So, this means that we can only see Coruscant as one of the destinations in the game. On top of that, Andy also shared that Jedi Survivor has amazing planets to explore and the biggest environment to date.

Along with Coruscant, players will also explore the ruins of the planet Kobo at the start of the game. This planet was confirmed from IGN’s nine-minute gameplay video of Jedi Survivor. But what else Respawn has in store for us, we’ll have to wait and see for ourselves.

There were seven planets in Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order that you can move and explore between them. These planets are:

  • Kashyyyk
  • Dathomir
  • To him
  • Only
  • Zeffo
  • Bogano
  • Hunting

While Cal travels through these locations in the sequel, players will also be exploring several new worlds. With a new grappling hook, upgrades, evasive techniques, and Cal getting comfortable with his Jedi persona, we can experience a change of pace. Unlike the Jedi Fallen Order, which focused on exploring the desert of another planet, Survivor has the potential to operate on a larger scale.

As the Stig mentioned, Survivor can develop aspects and elements of the Metroidvania series. And together with the new ally Bode Akuna, we can explore new planets, helping people from the darkness of the Empire. Star Wars Jedi Survivor launches April 28, 2023 on Xbox Series X | S, PlayStation 5 and PC.

That’s it for the number of planets in Star Wars Jedi Survivor. If you liked this guide, check out other video game guides.
