Warhammer 40,000: Darktide will skip the start of the school year to better focus on the end
Swedish studio Fatshark has been forced to delay the release of Warhammer 40,000: Darktide for the second time since its announcement.
Originally scheduled for Fall 2021 and then Spring 2022, Warhammer 40,000: Darktide is finally coming to PC on November 30th. Versions for Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S will come later.

As development draws to a close, Fatshark explains the reasons for the new delay: “Delaying a game is perhaps one of the most difficult decisions for a developer to make, and we’re not very keen on the idea of making it. However, we hope this demonstrates our commitment to take our time and do our best to bring you the best game possible. While we’ve received great reviews for the game, we also need more time to improve the stability, performance, and maturity of key systems. Each of these elements is essential to delivering the best experience for you, the players.”
Technical tests and beta versions of Warhammer 40,000: Darktide with players
Martin Valund, CEO and co-founder of Fatshark, will engage the community in order to accelerate development in good conditions: “We will soon begin a series of technical tests and betas before our launch to ensure that we bring you the best version of the game. If you’d like to participate, you can sign up for a chance. “
