Warhammer 40K Darktide Curios: how to get them?
Warhammer 40,000 Darktide has everything you want – bloody and brutal action. It perfectly showcases decent game mechanics along with improved graphics. The developers clearly didn’t want players to settle for less. In addition, there are several types of missions that are more than enough to keep you entertained for hours. Although the goal for each of the missions in this game is different, there is one thing in common – fighting back enemy forces. Hence, make sure your weapons are strong enough to fend off hordes of plague enemies. Also, durability is a key factor, and it mostly depends on how much damage you can take. That’s when Curios plays his part in Warhammer 40K Darktide. I wonder how? Read this guide to the end to find out for yourself.
How does Curio work in Warhammer 40,000 Darktide? (explanation)
As we know, there are 3 health sections by default. Each time you are destroyed, you lose one slot upon respawn. This means that if you get killed a second time, you will only have a fraction of your health left when you respawn. The damaged part of your health turns purple and can only be healed at the infirmary. However, when Curio is equipped, you gain one additional health point in Warhammer 40K Darktide. Also, if you get the rarer Curio, chances are you’ll get additional buffs like experience, damage reduction, etc.
How to get souvenirs in Warhammer 40K Darktide
There are 3 Curios slots in this game, which are unlocked at level 8, level 16 and level 24 respectively. Further, when you reach level 8 and unlock the first slot, Curio will become available for purchase in the Props. Also, keep in mind that attachments and other tradable items are completely random. So you’ll have to keep an eye on which day Curio can be bought in Warhammer 40K Darktide.
In addition, you can stack multiple Curiosities to increase your drop rate. For example, if you have 3 souvenirs with a 15% chance of dropping a souvenir each, then in total it will be 45%. This means you have 45% to get a Curio instead of a weapon at the end of the mission.
