Warstride Challenges, shooter for speedrunners

Focus Entertainment announces a partnership with Dream Powered Games and adds Warstride Challenges to its Indie Series editorial lineup.

Explosive first-person shooter Warstride Challenges from Dream Powered Games aims to eradicate hordes of demons at breakneck speed in a series of bloody limited-time challenges. This way, it will be possible to slow down time to even out headshots, jump from platform to platform to gain speed, or even slide to make your way without ever slowing down and destroy enemies with devastating shockwaves.

“We are very pleased with this partnership with Focus Entertainment to develop Warstride Challenges,” said Vincent Cabanas, Ludwig Dresch and Sidney Giot, the three founders of Dream Powered Games. “Their know-how will greatly help the project to resonate abroad and find its audience, and it is with great pleasure that we are now working hand in hand to create an unforgettable experience for all Fast FPS enthusiasts. Focus is a partner that agrees to put gameplay at the center of their games, and that’s exactly what we were looking for for Warstride! ”

Warstride Challenges will be available on PC (Steam) starting April 19 via Early Access.

“We continue to support the francophone scene with a project that has become clear: hardcore gameplay made fun and accessible by a mature and creative team,” explains Yves Le Jaouanc, Director of Content at Focus Entertainment. “Warstride offers a real challenge with a very high replay value potential. Challenging but motivating and allowing players to progress, compare themselves and share their evolutions with others, the game sublimates the famous easy-to-learn and hard-to-learn game and updates the fast FPS with rhythmic and dynamic intersections and level design demanding. Offering original gameplay combinations supported and updated by live and mod variants, helping the team grow together through a unique and innovative project, we are here at the center of editorial vision, which we want to protect and expand. “
