With Bolders Reborn, you can do more with the folders on your jailbroken device
You might want to look at a recently published jailbreak modification called Bolders Reborn by iOS developer NightwindDev if you’re interested in enhancing the folders on the Home Screen of your iPhone or iPad, especially on any of the most recent versions of iOS or iPadOS.
According to the tweak’s representation, Bolders Reborn is supposed to be an updated version of the Bolder jailbreak tweak that was initially released for iOS 12 back in the day. In addition to extra capabilities that may interest individuals who are currently jailbreaking, the most recent version adds many of the same functions to the newer versions of iOS for those who might wish to give the folders on their Home Screen a unique twist.
When the tweak is installed, the Settings app gains a special preference pane where users can set up a variety of settings, including:
Things you can do here include:
- Customizing Home Screen label options:
- Title scale via a slider
- Title transparency via a slider
- Title offset via a slider
- Subtitle scale via a slider
- Subtitle transparency via a slider
- Subtitle offset via a slider
- Horizontal icon inset via a slider
- Top icon inset via a slider
- Vertical icon spacing via a slider
- Horizontal offset via a slider
- Icon scale via a slider
- Enable or disable Home Screen blur effect
- Customizing the text that displays the number of apps in a folder
- Adjusting the number of rows per page in a folder
- Adjusting the number of icons per row in a folder
Bolders Reborn enables users to alter the icon density on each page of a folder, as well as the titles and subtitles, for the most part. The ability to have a live app icon count, which maintains track of the amount of apps you have in separate folders, is a neat feature of the tweak.
Anyone who wants to try Bolders Reborn for themselves can get the tweak for nothing from the Chariz repository using their preferred package manager program. The tweak works with iOS & iPadOS 14, 15, and 16 jailbroken devices, whether they have root access or not.
