Wordle is a game with a very simple concept. Today the mod is so big that it is played by millions of players around the world and it is available in many languages. The New York Times introduces WordleBot in its Wordle game
Everyone has their own approach to playing Wordle. Some methods are definitely better than others. What if a computer could help gamers improve the way they play? The New York Times recently introduced WordleBot, a completely optional feature that analyzes the game point by point and shows what the player could do to be more efficient. If you’ve ever played, you most likely stumbled upon the winning word on your last try, or even couldn’t find it. For those little or no fruitful attempts, Wordlebot can be very helpful.
Players also have a score from 0 to 100 to gauge their performance and luck. It should also, no doubt, sharpen the rivalry between relatives, who are engaged in a bitter struggle every day in different networks. WordleBot also shows the average scores of other players to determine your position. With the wave of tweets we see every day talking about the success of various networks, there is no doubt that there is a real demand for this kind of functionality. WordleBot scores are also a good way to gauge the difficulty of a day’s puzzle.

During a Q&A session, The New York Times gave a simple explanation of how WordleBot works: “Each Wordle game starts with one of 2309 possible solutions as a hidden word. In each round, WordleBot chooses the word that solves the game as quickly as possible, assuming that all remaining solutions have an equal chance of coming out.”
For most players, WordleBot provides more information than is necessary. A fortiori, if Wordle is just a source of daily distraction. But for the most diligent players who may feel like they are not progressing, this feature will come in handy. WordleBot can also bring back former players who might want to know how much of their success was due to real technology and how much was due to luck.
