World of Warcraft WotLK: How to Get the Headless Horseman Mount (Location)

The Hallow’s End event is here with a bunch of amazing rewards for you. Make the most of it because it’s available from October 18th to November 1st. You have to complete several quests and earn achievements. One of the special bosses available in this event is the Headless Horseman. The Headless Horseman is an elite boss that can be summoned in the Scarlet Monastery Graveyard.

How to get to Scarlet Monastery

For members of the Horde:

• Travel to Dalaran
• Once you get there, use the portal to the Undercity.
• Take the northeast path from Undercity to Tirisfal Glades.
• Continue on and you will reach the Scarlet Monastery.

For Alliance members:

• Go Southshore
• From there, pass Tarren Mill and follow the path that leads to the Western Plaguelands via Bastion.
• Drive along the mountains to get to Tirisfalder Glades.

Once you get to the Scarlet Monastery, head to the graveyard. There you will find a pumpkin temple. Click on it and you will summon the Headless Horseman.

The Headless Horseman fight isn’t very difficult, but it can be challenging if you’re not prepared. The fight is divided into three phases:

Phase 1

The Headless Horseman will fight whoever clicks on the shrine, so we suggest having your team’s Tank do it. Avoid his Cleave melee ability and you’re done. When you deplete his health to 1%, the second phase begins.

Phase 2

In the second stage, he will tear off his head, and this will be your goal. Beware of his Whirlwind ability. As soon as you damage the head to 60% or when her body heals to 100%, the third phase will begin.

Phase 3

The rider will reattach his head and fight you himself. It will summon four Pulsing Pumpkins, which will spawn Pumpkin Fiends. Focus on the Rider and finish him off or you’ll have to face another wave of Pumpkin Fiends. They will die once the Horseman is defeated.

The Rider will drop a loot-filled gourd that contains the following loot:
