Xiaomi 12 to be launched in China next month: expected specs, specs

Recently, there have been rumors about some details of the Xiaomi 12 series. The Chinese smartphone giant is expected to unveil its next flagship series in December 2021. If the rumors are to be believed, we can expect the Xiaomi 12 series launch event to take place shortly after Qualcomm unveils its next flagship processor at the Qualcomm Summit on November 30th. Xiaomi has not yet confirmed any details regarding the successor to the Mi 11 series. While we wait for official confirmation, tipster Digital Chat Station claims that the flagship series will launch in China next month.

The tipster didn’t give specific details about the launch date. However, he stated that the device will feature Qualcomm’s next flagship processor. Qualcomm is expected to introduce Snapdragon SM8345 SoC, also known as Snapdragon 898 SoC, on November 30th.

In addition to this, the analyst points out that the display and camera of the Xiaomi 12 series will dominate. He didn’t go into details.

Xiaomi 12 specifications leaked

It was previously reported that the Xiaomi 12 series will come with a 50MP main camera. The company may have used Samsung’s GN5 sensor introduced earlier this year. In addition to that, the phone’s triple camera is also reportedly equipped with two additional 50MP sensors for ultra-wide and telephoto shooting. The latter is expected to have a 5x periscope zoom.

Although the display size remains unknown, it has been reported that the device will have a high screen-to-body ratio with a tiny cutout for the front camera.

Under the hood, the phone is rumored to support 100W fast charging. It would be rather strange if Xiaomi did not launch its flagship series with its fastest 120W fast charging technology launched earlier this year.
