Vivo has added another smartphone to its V-series. Vivo V23e 5G just made its global debut in Thailand. This is the 5G variant of the Vivo V23e that was unveiled earlier this month. The Vivo V23e 5G features the flat-edge design we’ve seen on several V-series phones in the past. The smartphone offers an AMOLED display, a 44MP selfie camera and is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 810 SoC and a 4050mAh battery. Vivo V23e 5G is only sold in one memory and storage configuration – 8GB + 128GB. Its price is 12,999 Thai baht (approximately $390).

The V23e 5G features a 6.44-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a resolution of 2400×1080 pixels and water notch. Under the hood of the device is an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 810 SoC built on a 6nm process. The smartphone relies on the Mali G57 GPU for all graphics-related tasks. It packs 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and also offers 4GB of virtual memory. The phone offers 128GB of UFS2.1 storage, which is expandable via the microSD card slot. It boots Android 11 with Vivo’s proprietary UI on top of Funtouch OS.
Moving on to cameras, the Vivo V23e 5G features a triple rear camera setup with LED flash. In addition to the main 50-megapixel sensor, the phone also offers a 2-megapixel macro lens and an 8-megapixel ultra wide-angle lens. For selfies, there is a 44-megapixel camera on the front. The smartphone is equipped with a 4050 mAh battery and 44W fast charging. With 44W charging, the phone can charge from 0 to 69% in 30 minutes. It has a USB Type-C port for charging and an optical in-display fingerprint scanner, but it lacks a 3.5mm audio jack.
Connectivity options include Dual Sim, 5G, 4G, VoLTE, 2.4/5GHz WiFi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 5.1, and GPS. It weighs 172 grams and measures 160.87×74.28×7.4mm.
