iQoo Neo 5s China Launch Confirmed on December 20, Origin OS Confirmed
iQOO has confirmed the launch of a new 5G smartphone in China. The company will introduce the Neo 5s later this month at home. The launch of the device is confirmed on December 20th. IQOO has released several teaser images that reveal key details of the upcoming smartphone. It will run Origin OS on top of Android. Launch of iQOO Neo 5s
iQOO Neo 5s will debut as a new Neo 5 series smartphone in China on December 20th. Specifications of the device leaked into the past. Ahead of the official launch, the company has only confirmed that the device will come with Origin OS Ocean. The new version comes with a new lock screen design, live wallpapers, nano notifications, a nano music player, and a few other UI changes.
A live image of the device was leaked earlier this week. It turned out that the phone will have a flat display. The screen is said to be 6.56 inches tall and equipped with an OLED panel. In the center of the screen at the top there will be a cutout for a hole punch. The screen is surrounded by thin bezels, save for a slightly thick chin. In addition to this, the leaked information shows that the phone will be powered by Snapdragon 888 processor. It will have 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.
The device will also have an in-display fingerprint scanner and support for a 120Hz refresh rate. On the back of the phone, there will be a triple camera setup. It will have a 48-megapixel main camera with OIS support. For selfies, there can be a 16 MP front camera. The device is rumored to pack a 4,500mAh battery and support up to 66W fast charging.
