OnePlus Nord 2 CE launch seems imminent as it is listed on the BIS
The OnePlus Nord 2 CE is a new mid-range phone from the Chinese smartphone maker. Renders and detailed specifications of the upcoming Nord 2 CE were leaked recently on the Internet. Leaked renders have revealed its close resemblance to the Oppo Reno 7 SE. The latest development is a phone of the upcoming Nord series that has been spotted on the BIS certification website, hinting at an imminent launch. The announcement was first spotted by well-known informant Mukul Sharma. Mukul tweeted this to report on developments:
The OnePlus Nord 2 CE has appeared on the BIS certification site with model number IV2201. The telephone set is codenamed Ivan.
OnePlus Nord 2 CE Specifications and Features
The upcoming OnePlus Nord 2 CE is said to offer a 6.4-inch AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate display. We can expect it to be a Full HD+ resolution panel. It is said to be powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 900 octa-core mobile processor built on a 7nm process. It comes with Mali G68 GPU. For those who don’t know, this is the same processor that powers the Oppo Reno7 SE.
The Nord 2 CE is reported to have up to 12GB of RAM and will boot OxygenOS 12 based on Android 12. A 4500mAh battery can be installed under the hood. Nord 2 CE reportedly offers support for 65W Warp Charge 65 fast charging, which was first seen with Nord 2 on Nord series devices. Judging by the renders, the phone has a triple rear camera setup. It will include a 64MP OmniVision sensor, a 2MP macro sensor, and an 8MP ultra-wide lens. The device is said to offer a 16MP selfie camera.
The Nord 2 CE will not ship with OnePlus’ signature warning slider. It is also reported that this is the first smartphone from the company with a dedicated slot for micro-SD memory cards.
