OnePlus Nord CE 2 launch confirmed on February 17th. Specifications leaked

OnePlus has confirmed the launch of a new smartphone. No, this is not the OnePlus 10 Pro launched in China earlier this year. The OnePlus flagship is expected to launch in March or April in other markets. Prior to that, the company is announcing the OnePlus Nord CE 2 5G.

The company has confirmed that Nord CE 2 will launch on February 17th. A teaser video uploaded by OnePlus outlines some of the key design elements and confirms some of the previous leaks. OnePlus Nord CE 2 5G launch confirmed

OnePlus Nord CE 2 5G will be launched on February 17th. The teaser confirms that the phone has a triple camera setup. You can also see that the phone has a notch in the upper left corner of the screen.

OnePlus has not revealed the official specifications of the Nord CE 2. However, most of the key details of the upcoming smartphone have leaked out of the rumor mill. Tipster Abhishek Yadav claims that the device will launch in two storage options. He also released pricing information for the two configurations. The base model will have 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Its price will be 23,999 rupees. The other RAM option will have 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage and will be available for $320. It will come with a dedicated microSD card slot for storage expansion. This will be the first time that a OnePlus phone will feature a microSD card slot.

The phone will be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 900 SoC. It will also feature a 64-megapixel main camera sensor. The triple camera will be complemented by an 8MP ultra-wide camera and a 2MP sensor. According to previous reports, the phone will have a 6.4-inch AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution. It will come with 90Hz refresh rate support. Inside the cutout for selfies and video calls, there will be a 16-megapixel front camera.

There will be a 4500 mAh battery under the cover of the phone. It will come with support for 65W fast charging. With the specs on offer, the company is expected to launch the Nord CE 2 for around $332. The higher memory option will probably cost less than $400.
