Oppo Reno7, Reno7 Pro launch could happen in January: expected specs, features

The Oppo Reno 7 series is expected to launch in China soon along with the Oppo Pad. It is expected that three devices will be released in the series – Reno 7, Reno 7 Pro, Reno 7 SE. Ahead of the official launch earlier this month, the trio’s pricing and specs were leaked, and now a fresh report has given us the India launch and availability of the Reno 7 series.

Oppo Reno 7 Series Launch Schedule

According to a report from 91mobiles, the Oppo Reno 7 series will launch in January 2022. The report also suggests that the Reno 7 and Reno 7 Pro devices will be launched, while the launch and availability of the Reno 7 SE is not yet clear. Since these devices are expected to arrive in January, the Reno 7 series could launch in China in December, if not November.

Features Oppo Reno 7 and Reno 7 Pro

According to previous leaks, the Oppo Reno 7 will come with a 6.5-inch FHD+ 90Hz display and be powered by the Dimensity 1200 SoC. The device will pack a 4,500mAh battery with 65W fast charging. The Reno 7 will feature a 50-megapixel Sony IMX 766 main camera with optical image stabilization, a 16-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 2-megapixel black and white portrait lens. The device is reportedly equipped with a 32-megapixel selfie camera (Sony IMX 615).

The Oppo Reno 7 Pro on the other hand will sport a 120Hz 6.5-inch display and will be powered by the Snapdragon 888 SoC. The Reno 7 Pro is said to come with a 50-megapixel Sony IMX709 main camera with OIS on the back, a 16-megapixel ultra wide-angle camera, and a 13-megapixel telephoto lens. It is said to come with 4,500mAh, 65W fast charging, and a 32MP selfie camera.

In terms of pricing, the Oppo Reno 7 is expected to start at 3,499 yuan, while the Reno 7 Pro is expected to start at 4,299 yuan.
