Redmi 10 India Launch Confirmed for March 17th: With 50MP Dual Camera and Snapdragon Processor
Redmi has confirmed the release of a new budget smartphone. The company has announced that the Redmi 10 is coming to India soon. The budget smartphone will go on sale in India on March 17. Before the launch, the company also listed some of the key features of the Redmi 10.
The device is confirmed to be available for purchase in India via Flipkart after its launch. According to a teaser on Flipkart, the Redmi 10 will feature a Snapdragon processor. Let’s take a look at the features, specifications and launch details of Redmi 10 that have been revealed so far.
Redmi 10 launch in India
Redmi 10 will be the new budget smartphone from Xiaomi in India. The budget smartphone is expected to cost around Rs 10,000. The device has not yet launched worldwide. Judging by the teaser, Redmi 10 will be equipped with a Snapdragon chipset. The device could be a 4G offering and is expected to be powered by the recently released Snapdragon 680 processor. We speculate this based on the Snapdragon 6nm chipset teaser on Flipkart.
The teaser also shows that there is a water drop display on the top of the phone. The screen is likely to be IPS LCD. It will have a rather thick bezel on the chin compared to the top and sides. The screen size is not yet known.
There is a dual camera on the back of the phone. The text on the camera module confirms that the phone has a 50 MP main camera sensor. Most likely, it will be equipped with a 2-megapixel depth sensor. The LED flash is also located inside the camera module.
Apart from these details, the microsite confirms that the phone has support for fast charging. It will come with a “massive battery”that we suspect will be 5,000 mAh. The phone also has a fingerprint scanner located on the back. It is expected to have MIUI 13 out of the box. Other details of the phone remain unknown.
