Redmi Note 11T Series Launch Officially Set for May 24th in China: Triple Camera Setup Revealed
The launch of the Redmi Note 11T series was announced in the first week of May. The company has now confirmed the launch date for the next-generation Redmi Note T-series devices. The Redmi Note 11T series will be launched in China on May 24th. The launch event will take place next Tuesday at 7:00 pm local time, which is 2:30 pm Eastern Standard Time.
The Redmi Note 11T series has been in the news for a couple of months now. We have previously seen the device on multiple platforms such as the 3C certification website and TENAA. According to previous reports, the series is expected to feature two phones, the Redmi Note 11T and Note 11T Pro. However, the company has now officially confirmed the name Redmi Note 11T Pro+.
This means that the brand could release three new phones next week, or only the Redmi Note 11T Pro and Pro+ devices could be announced. At the moment, we do not know how many devices Redmi plans to release on May 24th.
Redmi Note 11T series: what we know so far
According to previous 3C and TENAA databases, the Redmi Note 11T and Redmi Note 11T Pro smartphones are expected to arrive with model numbers 22041216C and 22041216UC respectively. Redmi Note 11T will come in two configurations, 6GB RAM + 128GB storage and 8GB + 256GB variant. On the other hand, Redmi Note 11T Pro will come in 8GB + 128GB and 8GB + 512GB variants. Both smartphones are expected to feature a 6.6-inch screen and are 8.8mm thick. The official launch image also confirms that the Redmi Note 11T series will come with a triple rear camera setup.
In addition, both devices will be equipped with a 5G processor. The Redmi Note 11T Pro 5G is said to offer support for 120W fast charging, while the vanilla Note 11T 5G is expected to offer 67W charging. According to the previous listing, the Note 11T series will feature 4980mAh and 4300mAh batteries on the 11T and 11T Pro respectively. Finally, the devices will run Android out of the box, which could be Android 12 based on the MIUI 13 skin.
