Tecno Spark 8T launch officially announced soon

Tecno Spark 8T has been officially confirmed to launch soon. The company teased the upcoming smartphone release rumor on Twitter, which also revealed at least one official color variant of the device. The Spark 8T will have a light blue color option upon launch, and while no launch date has been announced, an official teaser suggests it could be introduced in the country in the coming weeks.

Tecno Spark 8T: everything we know so far

Unfortunately, little is known about the upcoming Tecno Spark 8T smartphone. Based on a teaser image of the device that was posted earlier today, the Spark 8T appears to have at least the dual rear cameras seen on the poster. The volume keys and the power button are located to the right of the smartphone, which is in line with the overall design of modern smartphones.

Last month, Tecno also added a new variant to its previous smartphone, the Spark 8. The latter features a 6.56-inch HD+ display with a notch for the front camera. The device is powered by a MediaTek Helio G25 SoC along with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The latter can also be increased by supporting microSD cards.

Interestingly, the smartphone was presented in the base version with 2 GB of RAM. The latter was equipped with MediaTek’s Helio A25 SoC.

Other features of the smartphone include a 16MP dual rear camera with various software features, including AI-powered portrait mode, bokeh for videos, and more. It also has an 8MP front camera for selfies. In terms of connectivity, the Spark 8 features dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5, a microUSB port for charging, and a 3.5mm audio port for wired headphones.

It also has a 5000mAh battery, runs Android 11 (Go Edition) and has a fingerprint sensor on the back. Given that the Tecno Spark 8T is supposed to improve upon this offering, it remains to be seen how the latter will look like in terms of its specs.
